Activities
We currently have the following activities which help us be "Friends of Youth":

Promise Yourself – To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to everyone you meet. To make all your friends feel there is something in them. To look at the sunny side of everything, and make your optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best and expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times, and give every living creature you meet smile. To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble. |

| Bi-monthly Meeting held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month: 6PM dinner, 7PM meeting, at Godfather's Restaurant - west of 29th & California. |

| Basketball Program every Saturday! |

Each Saturday in the fall and winter, we host the youth basketball program at the Shawnee Heights Middle School, starting at 8am.
2004 Fall Girls Basketball Program running every weekend starting 9/18/2004 thru 11/13/2004!
Be sure to attend the Pancake Feed on November 20th, 2004, at the end of the girls program. The Pancake Feed will be held at the Tecumseh South Grade School, from 7:00am til noon. Please contact one of the girls in the program for tickets or you may purchase tickets at the door. Thank you for supporting the youth of Shawnee Heights! |
